Glow In The Dark Easter Egg Hunt
Every Easter, we host a Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt as part of our community outreach. Kids move through stations where they learn about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Afterward, they head outside to hunt for Easter eggs filled with mini LED lights. This special event takes place on the Friday evening before Easter.

OCC | Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a global initiative by Samaritan's Purse that collects and delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world. The project aims to bring joy and share the message of Jesus Christ with kids through simple gifts and personal touches.
At Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lancaster, SC, we're dedicated to supporting Operation Christmas Child. We collect items year-round and host "Christmas in July" as part of our Family Fun Nights during the summer.
In November, we hold an annual OCC packing party, where we recreate the experience of working at the OCC operation center in Charlotte, NC. This event allows those who can’t travel, or are not physically able, or are too young to attend to still be involved and contribute to the cause.
Operation Jerusalem

Operation Jerusalem is a mission-based project that we do as a church where we join in with other churches to do work in our community. We take care of our home (Buford) which is our Jerusalem. This could be projected at the nearby schools, projects at our church, or as simple as giving out cookies to our police, firefighters, and EMS. Operation Jerusalem is giving back to our church and community.
