Patrick Blackmon
Patrick grew up in Buford, S.C. home of the yellow jackets. In 1996 Patrick moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he graduated from high school and college. Patrick graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2006. In 2006 Patrick surrendered to the call of ministry and has served in various positions including student minister and senior pastor. In December 2019 Patrick came to Bethlehem Baptist Church after he and his wife sensed God calling them to reach out to the Lancaster and Buford community. Patrick is currently attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for his Masters of Divinity
Patrick and Brittany have been married since 2012 and have three children Maddox, Zoey, and Reid.
Additionally, Patrick loves spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, coaching baseball, and coaching basketball. He enjoys playing golf and anything outdoors. Patrick has 6 years of coaching experience where he utilizes sports to share the love of Christ. Patrick’s favorite food is cube steak and mashed potatoes.
His favorite passages include Matthew 6:33, Matthew 28:18-20, and Acts 2:38-47. He believes the gospel is the greatest message ever to be told, and one that must be shared. One of his favorite quotes is “Only one life, “twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last” (C.T. Studd).
