Teachers: Erin Sims & Brittany Nguyen
Hello everyone!
My name is Erin Sims and together with Mrs. Brittany Nguyen, we share the awesome privilege of teaching the 3rd - 5th grade Sunday School class at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Each week, we dive into God’s word and explore ways to deepen our knowledge of the Bible. Oftentimes we incorporate hands-on experiences while completing our weekly Bible study. We enjoy integrating delicious snacks into our lessons when applicable. We write cards each week to our members of the Church who are shut-ins. We also list members of our church as well as our community who need special prayers. We have several young boys and girls in our class and would love for you to join us!
Youth Sunday School Classes

We invite you to come be a part of our Sunday morning small group.
What age and time?
Our class is made up of middle and high school boys who meet every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
What to Expect?
Our goal has been to create a learning environment where we all feel comfortable sharing thoughts and asking questions. Right now we are using Lifeway’s “Bible Studies for Life” curriculum as our guide to lead us to a deeper knowledge of God and His word.
Youth Girls (9th-12th)
Teachers: Susan Montgomery & Melissa Wallace
Located on the 3rd Floor Room 306
What to Expect?
Our class consists of girls who are eager to learn more about Christ. We enjoy doing life together and supporting each other in any way that we can. We currently are using the Bible Studies for Life curriculum in our class. We like this curriculum because we can learn about Christ and relate to our everyday lives. Each week we leave each other with encouragement that Jesus loves us! We would love for you to join our class.
Adult Classes
College/Young Adults (18-24 years old)
Teachers: Cameron & Morgan Benton
Who Are We?
Located in Room 304
The Young Adults class is a class of new graduates from High School up to age 25.
What To Expect?
The young adult class will be doing life together in many aspects. Learning and growing together as we search for what Christ has in store for the young adult. This age group has a tendency to fall away from the church at this age and we want to provide a place for them to gather together, be related, have fun, but also point each other to Christ. We will try to plan outings and trips together as well as missions in our nearby area and abroad.

Some of the missions we support are Angel Tree at Christmas, and school supplies to the area Buford schools. Within Bethlehem Church, we sponsor youth and children to attend summer camps, we donate items as well as giving monetarily to WMU Prison Packets and OCC (Operation Christmas Child), we coordinate meals to the sick and bereaved, and we do yardwork for the widows/widowers and beloved Seniors of our church family. Ladies II- Willing Workers Senior Adult Class
Teacher:
Ava Mahaffey, Sandra Plyler & Janice Mathis
What To Expect
Located in Room 202
Our class is a combination of the Willing Workers and the Sybil Faile classes. They were combined after many of our members became homebound after the covid crisis. Today, we continue the legacy of the willing hands and loving hearts as we continue to fulfill needs as they arise in our church and our community with willing hands and loving hearts. We are made up of many talented women of different ages, who love serving our Lord. We enjoy Sunday mornings studying the Word of God with some of the best teachers and a class filled with Godly wisdom. We don't currently have an age limit, since we don't know how long the Lord intends to use us. So, if you don't have a class, please come and check us out. We support missions of our church including Cooperative Program offerings, our church partnerships with Puerto Rico and West Virginia, and also send a quarterly love offering to Agape Church in Turkey. We also support our bereavement committee and continue to willingly fulfill any needs that arise, loving on those going through difficult times. We do all of this through our little class piggy bank, which seems to have an endless reservoir. We empty it and God fills it back up. We love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and give Him all the praise for what we are able to do in His Precious Name.
