“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.” (Psalm 9:1)
Church family, Can you believe it is now November? The month of November has always reminded us of how blessed we all are. It was a year ago this month that I met many of you for the very first time. None of us knew what we would encounter this first year of ministry together. However, I am thankful the Lord called my family and me here. Never did we dream that we would be impacted by a virus for nearly nine months. I do know that we all have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for each of you, the salvations, and baptisms we have celebrated together. This virus cannot stop the goodness, nor the movement of God. We serve a mighty God. I am also thankful for your willingness to serve. Throughout the remainder of this year we have several opportunities to love on our community including this Saturday for trunk or treat, and packaging shoeboxes on November 15. I look forward to these opportunities and serving alongside you.
Church family I want to encourage you because the Lord has greater things in store for us. May we never disregard or overlook the blessing God has bestowed upon us personally and corporately. Last week Zach challenged us along with the youth to set aside a specific time to get alone with God. I want to challenge each of you to give up social media, a TV show, a video game, or something like it and spend that time seeking the Lord. Jesus is worthy of our devotion and obedience. Before things get too crazy during the holidays let’s set aside time to meditate on His word and daily express our gratitude towards Him. May we acknowledge our thankfulness for all the things the Lord has done, is doing and will do in our lives. He is Worthy!!!!
Love each of you,
Pastor Patrick
